Devin O’Donnell is a technical advisor on climate and health at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. Devin works on multidisciplinary projects across climate and health relating to natural hazards and conflict settings including mental health, extreme heat, infectious disease, and anticipatory action. She advises local humanitarian actors on climate-smart health programming and is working to expand the availability of operational support on climate and health within the Red Cross Movement. Devin previously completed her master’s of public health at Boston University. While at BU, Devin was the program coordinator for the Center for Climate and Health and the Boston Area Heat Health Working Group. She was also a writing fellow at Public Health Post and supported climate and equity projects for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
